Domenico Geminiani began collaborating with Perkins Engines and he is now one of the leading distributors of Perkins engines in the world.

Domenico had the inspired intuition to install, for the first time in history, a diesel engine on an Alfa Romeo “Giulia” motor vehicle. The move proved so popular that it lead to a new market: diesel engines installed on production cars.

The company grew and obtained some important results both in terms of business and image. The leverage behind the success: top level technical know-how, guaranteed quality services, reliability and solid assistance. Domenico Geminiani was nominated member of the “PERKINS ROUND TABLE”, first ten Perkins Distributors in the world.

The high performances consolidate into a winning commercial standing, and led Perkins to award Geminiani the title of 1st Distributor in Europe.

In Windsor to receive the high recognition: 1st PERKINS DISTRIBUTOR IN THE WORLD. 

Thanks to his passion, skills, creativity and to the innovative technological intuitions, Domenico developed the SFERA project, which led to the development of “POWER PACK powered by Perkins” and “Power Pack stage V powered by Caterpillar”, the first soundproofed endothermic engine, fueled on diesel oil and water cooled, using Perkins & CAT engines. The creativity, combined with the technical knowledge, leads Geminiani to achieve an historical result: being the owners and the producers of a project commercialised through the powerful Perkins/Caterpillar world network, in which the Geminiani brand coexists with other major renowned brands.

The relationship with Perkins becomes stronger and stronger: from its “Power Centre”, Geminiani becomes a Perkins Distributor.

The success of the “POWER PACK powered by Perkins” and of the “Power Pack stage V powered by Caterpillar” is such that it leads to the development of the project that will widen the range: the 411P3, 415P4, 1144P, 1144PT and 1144EPTA models were born (a range of Engines from 19 kW to 100 kW, all meeting the current emission regulations).

Geminiani becomes GEMINIANI S.P.A., a joint-stock company with registered paid up capital of 4 million euros.

Geminiani creates the 1st bifuel engine based on the Perkins Engine (diesel & LPG) & starts to supply our OEM’s hybrid system.

The success of Power Pack was such that it led to the development a range of Engines from 100 to 186 kW. And Improve the Hybrid System Range.

Creation of a new hybrid systems range for OEM clients and the new Geminiani Hybrid Generator. Distribution agreement with JCB Power System for the Italian market via GE Global Engine.

Development of new diesel electric projects - Hybrid Pack and Dynamico.

In collaboration with Landini, Geminiani develops a revolutionary full-electric tractor model.
